We deal most often with civil law – the body of laws that govern ordinary private matters, separate from laws presiding over criminal, military, or political matters. It defines and protects the private rights of citizens, offers legal remedies that may be sought in a dispute, and covers areas of law such as contracts, torts, property, inheritance and family law.

Our most important area of interest is commercial law i. e. the body of law which regulates and develops the business world — contracts, companies, partnerships, insolvency, labour law, tax law, shipping law, competition law and so on. As such it is integrally linked to professional legal practice and the business world, to mergers and acquisitions, business schemes and development, national and international trade, and dispute resolution.

Public procurement law has become one of our fastest-growing fields of practice. It regulates the purchasing by public sector bodies and certain utility sector bodies of contracts for goods, works or services. Polish procurement law is complimentary with UE regulations regarding the matter and developed a specialized judiciary body to quickly resolve disputes between bidders and a purchasing agency — National Appeals Chamber.
